I love the heated water bowl! I have dogs that enjoy playing in their water bowl, carrying their water bowl, and eating their water bowl. This product has proven to be a blessing for that! The dogs have chewed on the edges but have not gotten through or ruined it. Having the water stay in a liquid state is a great thing! While it works wonderfully most of the time, occasionaly it will allow the top layer of water to freeze over so I have to smash that in to let the dogs get to the liquid. I have had 2 or 3 instances that it was so cold the entire bowl of water was still frozen, but within a day or two it will melt it. I have also gotten other friends and family to use this product as it saves you the hassle of having to use new bowls or have bowls of ice. Although it is not perfect, it is as close as it comes! I love this product and would suggest it to ANYONE!

I've used this water bowl for 2 yrs an it's excellent for keeping the water from freezing, uses very little electricity, just add fresh water or fill the bowl every other day depending on how much your dog drinks. After the freezing weather has passed just disconnect the bowl an store for next winter season. I have 2 of these an it sure saves on breaking ice from the water.

use these outside for the critters who lurk and does a fantastic job down to about 30 below.

Having grown up in a northern climate, this really is a 'must-have' if you have outside dogs. It keeps the water from freezing so that the dogs can drink much needed water.
