I think these bones are a good chew bone to use for crate training. You can stuff the bone with something yummy like cream cheese, wet dog food, cheesewhiz, etc. It keeps the dog busy and helps them perceive the crate as a good thing. I would not recommend this for a powerful chewer as the can be brittle.

so these are nice and clean, while the ones I get from the butcher aren't. The dogs like the butcher's better (more taste), and so do I--these seem too easy for them to chip/splinter. OK for stuffing with other stuff, but not great for heavy-duty gnawing.

Mya likes this a lot, but she is slow at finishing it. she leaves it around and it's slimmy.

Cons: it gets gummy where she chewed, kind of gross
