Dogs love 'em, but not much lasting power!

posted 6 years ago

Okay, my dogs absolutely love these things, and they would probably not argue if I threw away every other chew in the house in favour of smoked moo tubes. However, they don't last nearly as long as the other non-bone chews I've tried, and I am not a big fan of the greasy feeling they leave on my hands and furniture while the dogs go at them. Also, my foster dog frequently has diarrhea after eating a moo tube because his stomach is so sensitive to any extra greasiness. My four resident dogs will occasionally have stomach discomfort after partaking of a moo tube, but they generally are fine (they think that kitty roca is a fine snacking treat, so they're probably immune to a little grease).

If your dog isn't a heavy chewer and doesn't have a sensitive stomach, these will probably be a big winner though!

Pros: The dogs adore them

Cons: A touch greasy, not very long lasting chew, causes stomach upset for more sensitive dogs

Hard to find around here

posted 6 years ago

I have only had the pleasures of giving ONE of these to one of my dogs. Cashew got it as a gift and she loved it. (I gave the boys bully sticks so there werent any fights). It took a while to eat it. These seem like they would be great for keeping teeth clean also. Its all natural too. I wish I could find them locally, my only option is ordering online or getting them as gifts. Great product!!

Pros: taste, long lasting

Cons: cant find them in stores here, not for training

Yummy beef treat

posted 6 years ago

I admit that I get nauseous when I give this treat to Boston ... is looks pretty nasty to the human eye. BUT, Boston LOVES it ... it's heaven in a treat for dogs. Meaty, crunchy ... perfect. I just need to get over my hang-up over purchasing them!

Pros: Dogs just love this cruncy, meaty special-occasion treat

Cons: none

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
