Pedigree Goodbites Oral Care Dog Treats

Pedigree Good Bites Oral Care balance nutrition with fresh breath.
November 4, 2010 9:22 pm | By Zootoo Editor Flinn D.
Tasty enough for the most discerning dog palates, Pedigree Good Bites Oral Care effectively fight plaque and tartar buildup in your dog’s mouth while freshening his breath. The snacks come in a delicious meaty flavor that your pet will love and are created in one size, conveniently suitable for all adult dogs.
One of the problems I have had in the past with treats is that the more my dog loves them, the more I am tempted to feed them to him throughout the day. But with Good Bites, I’m pleased to report that this isn’t a problem. It’s not that my dog doesn’t love them – he does. But because Pedigree Good Bites are nutritionally balanced, they are healthy enough for my pooch to scarf down almost ten of them in a day. The package even provides guidelines for how many your dog should consume daily according to his weight.
So, how effective are the Good Bites? I have to say that being a connoisseur of doggie breath products, I was skeptical at first. My dog has disgusting breath – there’s no subtle way to describe it, and others have used the words “nuclear” and “corrosive.” When he’s on his A-game he clears couches, porches, TV rooms, kitchens – you name it. Needless to say, I’ve tried a lot of products. While I can’t claim that Good Bites Oral Care has cured the problem, I will say that they are considerably more effective than anything else that I’ve tried.
After chewing on one treat, my dog had good breath for about an hour. But because I am allowed to give him Good Bites up to ten times during the day I am pleased to report that I can effectively manage, if not totally solve, his bad breath problem with the help of these delicious treats.
Pros: Stands up to the most corrosive doggie breath. Nutritionally balanced.
Cons: Although effective, the results only last for a limited period of time.

I bought these hoping they would help with my dogs teeth. She really enjoys them and they work well for training. Also, they aren't as expensive as other treats that my dogs enjoy. Lilly's teeth and breath seem to be better since I bought these also. These Good Bites come in other types besides dental too.
Pros: Good for their teeth and tasty
Cons: none that I can think of
