These seem to help Sydney

posted 4 years ago

My extended zoo pet, Sydney is 19 years old and his back legs have started to show their age, as well as his hips.

I picked up a bag of these because I am doggy sitting this weekend while his Mom goes to the Westminster Kennel show.

I gave Syd 4 of these as a treat mid afternoon and he really enjoyed them.

I think they have a great texture, not too hard for his old teeth.

These are a bite sized treat and would be great for even smaller dogs.

Pros: Great texture, hip and joint benefit

Cons: none that I know of

I won't give these enough to help with their joints

posted 5 years ago

My dogs like these and they are a good size for training so I will use them from time to time. They are bite sixed and would work for any size dog. My dogs are fairly big dogs (60-70 lb range) and I do agility with them so anything that will help protect their joints is a plus. I will look for other supplements for dailey use, though. These have too many fillers and preservatives to use all the time, but I will add them to my list of alternatives.

Pros: taste good

Cons: fillers and preservatives

Tasty treat

posted 5 years ago

Although my dog doesn't have hip problems yet, she has really tight hips so I got these treats in hopes of delaying or preventing any future problems. She really loves the taste & they're the perfect size for training. They contain natural sources of glucosamine and chondroitin to help maintain healthy joints and mobility.

Pros: Dogs like it, healthy

Cons: none

Great, but wish they had bigger sizes

posted 4 years ago

Overall, Brandy loved them, but I had to give her several because she was such a large dog. You'd think they'd have bigger sizes since many dogs who have hip problems are larger breeds.

Pros: Good benefits, great for training

Cons: Too small for large dogs

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
