Finally, an easy way to freshen your dogs breath! Calculus tartar is the leading cause for bad breath. Removing tartar is essential for good oral hygiene. Bone-A-Mints uses sodium tripolyphosphate to help remove tartar build-up and leaves your dog with fresh breath by using herbs such as peppermint, parsley, fennel, and dill. Not only do these herbs help freshen breath but they also aid in digestion, alleviate gas, and soothe upset stomachs. In addition, chlorophyll is added to cleanse the blood of any odors, which also help fight bad breath. Highly palatable and nutritious, Bone-A-Mints are the smart choice to make bad breath disappear.

N-bones are generally good , but these are eh

posted 6 years ago

Other N-Bones are more attractive to my dog. I wonder about their claims. Certainly the breath bit is silly. If the dog is healthy and has a healthy diet, his breath will be okay. If his breath isn't good, bring him to the vet as there may be an underlying health issue. I don't chew things to clean my teeth, why should I think it would be effective on my dog? Mints do not clean, they cover up briefly. Other flavors are more appealing to my dog.

Pros: no harm

Cons: not the tastiest n-bones out there
