When we bought this product, we apparently weren't looking at the package, but then so many products out there are the same, and a family is hard put to afford the prices of premium foods and treats; but isn't that the point? Standards need to improve. I'm sure there's tons of beef by-products out there because of the tons of beef steak and hamburger the world consumes, but I still don't want to feed such to pets I love. A good investigation of literature on meat processing plants and meat by-products would cure many people of providing such as food to any living creature. By-products and fillers just aren't good for your animals, and there's research to prove it. Our dogs ate these when we provided them, but it isn't our first choice for dental care, treats or internal consumption.
