Taffy disappears too fast!

I tried this product trusting Merrick brands - I found that this taffy stick splinters and disappears too fast! I was worried about the dogs choking. I think that is was overpriced . If you feed this to your dog - be sure to keep an eye on them as I always do!
Pros: keeps them busy only for a short time
Cons: disappears too fast - worried about the way it splinters
