These chews are a staple in my household. Both my labs and my pom love them (he chews the petite).

The labs chew the large size (although they weigh more than the suggested weight) because I found that the x-large chews only come 15 to a bag and are not that much larger than the large!

But overall, they must be very tasty, b/c they beg for these daily! And I feel like I'm doing something good for them because of the enzymatic cleaning build-in!

Additionally, these don't expand in the stomach like other rawhide chews (which just always make my dogs sluggish or cause them to vomit up white chunks of rawhide :( gross)!

These are the best product I have tried to combat bad breath. My dogs go crazy for them! They work much better than greenies for combating bad breath and the results are longer lasting. They seem to really clean the teeth too, because since I have been feeding thses to my pets the vet has remarked at how well and clean their teeth look.

I actually buy these rawhide treats at my Vet. They come in three sizes and my dogs love them. A typical dog treat is devoured in little to no time. These last a good while. They are also a good way for your dog to help remove a little excess tarter. With these treats though you do need to be close by. There is always a chance that a piece could get stuck or lodged down in their throats and that would be horrible. But thats with any rawhide treat. All in all its a wonderful reward for my dogs and they look forward to getting them!

My dog loved these chews from the very first time I gave it to him. For the first few days, he had minor stomach problems, but I started giving him the chews every other day and has handled them fine. Every time he hears the bag he comes running. The best thing about these chews is that they really do get rid of some plaque. They are a great supplement to a dental program. Beware of feeding the chews on carpet as they are messy.

I know first hand of at least 2 dogs that choked on these, one was my own. Thankfully the owners were there to intervene. If you have a dog that wants to eat everything in site and goes quickly through a chew treat, these are not for you. If you have a nibbler, then observe and take away when gets down to small size. You're better off brushing their teeth, and the CET toothpaste is a better choice.
