Charlee Bear Dog Treats With Liver
(3 out of 5)
Editor's Review
Charlee Bear Dog Treats combine compact size with delicious taste.
July 15, 2010 12:26 pm | By Zootoo Editor Flinn D.
Charlee Bear Dog Treats, in liver flavor, come in a surprisingly innovative treat design that I can’t say I’ve quite experienced in a dog treat before. Eschewing the usual bite-size, bone shape that so many treats go for, the folks at Charlee Bear have baked their treats into small, pill-size pieces that dogs can eat and swallow within a few seconds. The effect takes away any satisfying chewing the dog would get from the treat, but makes the snacks convenient to take with you on a walk or to have around the house for a quick reward.
My dog found the treat delicious. And since the snacks are made with 100% natural ingredients, I could reward him with one guilt-free. Some of the excellent ingredients that Charlee Bear uses in its treats are real chicken liver, garlic powder, and plenty of healthy sources of fiber and iron too numerous to name here. Another upside to the treat is that because of its small size, it's the perfect treat for training purposes. At only 3 calories, you can use it to reward often.
Charlee Bear treats have gained popularity with trainers, and one can see easily why. Their all-natural ingredients, convenient size and the fact that they are relatively lightweight means they are easy to stuff in your pocket before a walk or long training session.
If you are looking for a way to reward your dog easily and often, this is the ideal treat. However, if you are looking for something your dog can get his teeth around - and have a satisfying chewing experience in addition to filling his belly - stick to the larger-sized snacks.
Pros: Compact size is convenient on-the-go or for training. All-natural ingredients, and dogs love the taste.
Cons: Small size prevents a satisfying chewing experience.

Good treats

These treats are easy to use - a good size, no need to cut into smaller pieces, no crumbling, no liver smell left on your hands. We use these for training treats (along with other products), and the dogs do like them.
Pros: Dogs like them
Cons: none
