Healthy & Tasty Treat for Training

posted 6 years ago

Both of my German Shepherds (one adult, one puppy) love these treats. The peanut butter flavor has been a godsend as I train the puppy! And the chicken flavor makes a nice "Atta Girl!" treat. This product is also great if your dog has allergy/skin issues--it contains no corn, no wheat, and no "byproducts" (just another word for the rotten crap that can't be sold to humans). I highly recommend this product.

Pros: Very tasty! No growth hormones! No Corn, No Wheat, No By-Products!

Cons: NONE

Organic and healthy (but she spits them out most of the time)

posted 6 years ago

I purchased an Organix "starter kit" that included these treats. They smell like chicken soup, so I thought they'd be a huge hit. I broke them up into smaller bits and put a bunch in a treat dispensing ball. My pit bull played with the ball, releasing the treats all over the house. Problem was, she didn't eat the treats! She doesn't seem to care for them at all. My lab ate them for her though, but labs eat everything. So these were not a bit hit at my house. I loved the ingredients though and was upset they didn't go over well. Maybe the shelter dogs will like them better as I will probably take these to the shelter dogs...

Pros: organic and healthy

Cons: not cheap and they don't really care for them

The dogs are not big fans

posted 6 years ago

Our dogs rarely turn down treats. They will eat this but you can tell they are not a favorite. The dogs must be like kids and know that these are good for them.

Pros: good for them

Cons: they don't care for them

Good!!

posted 6 years ago

Just bought a box of these, cheese flavor, at Whole Foods. Every dog at the shelter who got these seemed to like them, even the fussy boarding Poms!

Pros: Dogs like 'em!

Cons: None

They weren't thrilled

posted 6 years ago

My very picky eater wasn't too thrilled with these. He ate them, but didn't seem to gobble them down the way he does with other cookies. However, my bigger dog seemed to love them.
I like the fact that they are healthier for your dog and don't contain all the chemicals and additives that other products do.

Pros: Healthy

Cons: Not sure they enjoyed the taste
