THis is PurrFect for certain circumstances.... like when you have a major fine pedigree who "deserves" all the posh accomodations this represents.

However, when you're dealing with a fine pedigree whom life has forced to change his m/o to living on the street, relying upon his tenacity and ability to adapt to almost unfathomable conditions and demands, well.... it's sort of counterproductive to attempt and take them back to the "good ole days".

It's sorta like PTSD. Once burned, ... you "can never go home again" type of effect.

One of ours ( *hint* Watson ) can snuggle on sandpaper !! I truly think his rejection of the comfort provided by the lambswool is based solely upon the fact that life has pounded into his head the fact that he cannot DEPEND on the comfort being available.... so, he forces himself to accept less, should he ever have to again... which he "most suredly" will ( by his way of thinking ).

We had one of these for our little Carly when she was a pup, but she out grew it. I found it to be a great comfort while getting her used to long car trips. Besides safety, it provides stability and comfort for dogs new to car rides.

Since she grew out of it, I now use a car safety harness. Surprisingly the car seat did train Carly to stay put in the front seat without the use of any restraints. She just sits politely in place until I can fasten her safety harness.

This is a very good pet car seat. The dog...or cat, can be close to you safe and able to look out of the car. And it secures to the console with straps.

My kitty likes to sit on the dashboard. I will get one of these so she can be close to me when I drive.

And they are soft and so comfortable.

We travel with our pets. We place two in the back seat and off we go. Most of the way the boys will curl up and sleep in the snoozer. Make the trip pleasant for all of us.

I travel alot from Ky to Florida. Although I have a crate for my dog -she loves to ride next to me. This has been a good purchase.
