I have used this product on two of my hounds and it was fantastic. I found it very difficult to train them from non-nusiance barking without the aide of something. I refuse to use a shock collar! The citronella bark collar is best used when you can give a verbal command to help train away from it's use. It is also helpful for apartment folk who need to be considerate of their neighbors when they leave the house. Both of my dogs now respect my no bark command and I never hear my neighbors complain (sometimes I'll ask if they hear them during the day and even then I get good feedback).

I love the concept of a gentler punishment (smell of citro instead of shock) to help dogs curb their barking habit (in the presence of a good training program and lifestyle modification to address the problem barking, of course). However, dogs can still bark at a high pitch without being corrected. Furthermore, another dog's bark will set the collar off which is really unfair to the dog wearing the collar who has not barked. A few bugs to work out but still a decent product for the time being. Oh, and it eats expensive batteries like candy!!!

It's a great idea to a point. There should be a warning device in place on this collar as well...maybe a noise...to warn the dog that if the behavior does not cease, the collar will spray. Eventually the dog won't need to be sprayed.

This is great product that really is usefull! When your dog is barking and going crazy you can stop them just by pressing a simple button that doesnt hurt them servearly but it is just enough to stop them from barking.

Pros: This collar is allowed to get wet and wont shock the dog when wet

Cons: it runs out of battery and you have to charge it every now and then

Great for controling your barking dog without hurting your pet!
