I wish this had been around when I had my dog. She was always climbing onto the front seat where she didn't belong.

My dog, Porsche, stays in the back seat and isn't a distraction when I drive. But it was a different story when I took shelter dogs to participate in events such as mall adoptathons, Turkey Trot Run/Walk, and Homecoming and Christmas parades. The dogs would bounce back and forth between the front and back seats of my car. I was always concerned the distraction would cause me to wreck and injure a dog. Finally, I spoted this barrier in a store and it has been a lifesaver. It installs easily and the dogs stay in the back seat. Only drawback - isn't machine wash/dry but must be washed by hand and line dried. I can put up with that in exchange for the usefulness it has provided.

my mom has one. i'm going to get one to my dog wants to be right in my lap and its very unsafe for both of us.

This is a good for keeping dogs in the back seat. All dogs like to be up front by their humans and that is not safe.

Such a great idea. Keeps the dog from flying through the front seats when standing. Keeps them out of the front too!
