We were using baby gates to confine our dog to the kitchen/family room area. However, they were not easy to step over for us or our children. This gate allows a one touch release that works very easy for all the family yet keeps our dog where we want her. The gate swings both ways, which is a great feature. The height will not allow dogs to jump over it. The color matches our woodwork which makes it seem like a part of the house! (versus plastic baby gate) We have had many people in our home that have asked where we got this and commented on what a great gate it is.

Pros: This gate is easy to use and set up.

Cons: Have to step over 1" of gate on bottom.
