I have two of these one from PetSmart and one from Wal-Mart. They are both made by the same company. The one from Walmart does not have an on/off switch. The one from PetSmart does. They are really effective. I have one that likes to bark a lot especially when we are not home. It had helped a lot and our neighbors are much happier.

When we used this it aggravated Shadow so much that he barked all the more. Needless to say, we did not use it for long.

Cons: more barking, not effective

This is a good product that didn't hurt me so I figure it won't hurt them. One dog barked it out and broke it but it worked on the other one. Another dog just relearned how to bark to not set it off. I would most likely purchase another one if I needed to.

i hate that the dog has to be shocked but they learn quickly

Pros: helps keep your pets in your yard

Cons: i hate the whole shocking aspect
