My dog learned her boundaries after only one low-level shock. I have two miles of horse fencing that mostly keeps her home, but she always seemed to find the spots she could wriggle under to go galavanting. This collar reinforces the boundary. these work great for trainig they are easy to install. they are underground so they dont get in way of the lawn mower. they give the dog a small shock when they are trying to get out if the yard. they are safe and work for most all dogs.some dogs it dont work on. they keep going even when shocked.

Pros: no running away

Cons: not for all dogs
