This collar was great for training. I used it to train my dog to learn the boundaries of our yard, so he would stay out of the neighbors yards and out of the road since we did not have a fence and I did not want to chain him up or have him on a leash all of the time. It was great. He learned very quickly and I liked being able to use the noise to stimulate him rather than the shock collars. It is gentle but gets their attention and you can use it to train for multiple things of your choice.
