I THINK this is the same stuff that I buy as SprayShield. The ingredient list is the same, and the packaging design is nearly identical.

I carry SprayShield at the shelter where I volunteer and at home - anytime I'm around dogs, actually.

I've used it at home because my Siberian Husky gets annoyed pretty easily sometimes, and I have foster dogs in the house. I've heard from a couple of other Siberian owners that they've found it works, too.

It's the strangest thing to see - one second the dogs are having at each other with fangs bared, the next second they're just standing there peacefully. Then you have time to move them to separate spaces.

After they're sprayed they don't blink or wipe their eyes, don't sneeze, cough, or shake their heads ... they just stop the aggressive behavior.

That's my experience, anyway. One time my Husky did a half of a cough, but his airway has been compromised a little by pneumonia. Even so, it didn't bother him the other times.

The belt clip is attached to the canister with a rubber pad that's sticky on both sides. Do not trust it!

I've bought four cans (misplaced two, foster puppy chewed another), and the clips stayed on for a couple of days only. One can's clip came off as soon as I took it out of the package.

I buy them at Petsmart. Petco has a display of the company's other products, but they don't seem to carry this one.

I really dont know about this product. It sounds like they mean well but I dont think I will be buying it.

This spray works well to ward off loose dogs who may run at you while you are walking your dogs. It also works well to break up dog fights. It is safe and gentle on the dogs, they just really don't like the smell and it distracts them. It won't sting or irritate them.

Pros: Safe and effective

Cons: Slim chance of just making some dog more angry
