I bought this for my teething puppy. I thought the cool water would help soothe his teeth and gums. It took me a while to get the bone open so that I could add water. I placed mine in the freezer for a while (directions say that you can) just to cool the water some more, but not to freezing. My dog didn't really like playing with the toy though. I think it was a bit too heavy for him even though he is a large breed dog. They have to be really tough chewers for the water to actually squeeze out of the holes. My dog just wasn't interested and we passed this bone onto someone else.

Pros: chew toy for dogs

Cons: hard to open, heavy

The aqua bone is relatively cheap and great for dental health. My dog likes it a lot and it lasts much longer than raw hide or other bones.

Pros: Good for dental health

Cons: None that I could see.
