Both of our small breeds had one of these in there crates as pups. It is enticing enough to make introducing a crate a more inviting. This is not meant to last forever, but serves it's purpose fully for beginning crate training.

Our 2 year old shihtzu is not a big chewer, so hers is still going strong. She did chew one toy off when she was young, but we were able to attach another with the left over velcro.

Pros: Great for crate training pups or small dogs

Cons: not meant to last long with tough chewers

I love this toy because it hangs from the top of the cage and is not always as dirty as things on the bottom of the crate. This toy keeps my dog entertained an happy while in her crate.

Pros: Easy to clean

Cons: Hard to put on cage
