Nice, but didn't last long
posted 5 years ago
We purchased our first Hurley because our dog is an extremely aggressive chewer. We haven't found anything she can't destroy. The first one we bought lasted a few days, but once she discovered the weak spot (the thin part in the middle, if you bend it, it makes it easier to splinter) it took her maybe a few minutes to have it in pieces. Still, it lasted longer than anything else she has ever had. So when we found another one on sale, we bought it. Now that she knew how to tear it apart more efficiently, the seccond one lasted only 10 minutes. I am sure that with any other dog it would have had a long life but not with our Sasha. Many people have told me that they have had theirs for a long long time and not had any problems so I am sure they really are durable and Sasha is just a super-chewer. West Paw does, however, offer to send you a free one time replacement if your dog can destroy it. Just make sure you save the wrapper and receipt. Also, I like to note that the remains that are returned to the company are kept and recyled to make new dog toys, and that is really awesome!
Pros: Pretty durable, really fun and bouncy
Cons: my dog destroyed it in about 10 min.
