Promotes ball destruction

posted 6 years ago

These were dontated to the rescue so I snagged one to try out with my foster beagles. This one should have been a no brainer but if you add any scent of food to a toy and give it to a beagle it will be destroyed! The tennis ball was de-fuzzed in about 10 minutes....after that it wasn't much good anymore. The pups went nuts for the ball but I mine as well taken an old tennis ball and lathered it in the real thing. The mint ones may be better but anything that has a food scent may not last! Fun concept but not for the beagle nose or mouth!

Pros: Added taste

Cons: Added taste

Duke the destroyer

posted 6 years ago

We got my brother's boxer Duke some of these peanut butter scented tennis balls for Christmas. Duke loves tennis balls. They are his favorite toy and always has one in his mouth.

Well, he destroyed these tennis balls in nothing flat. He has never destroyed his tennis balls before. So we figure it was the smell.

So we now know, Duke gets no scented Tennis Balls again.

Pros: none sure

Cons: destroyed
