OK, so here is a new idea for you. Not only is this stimulating for your pet, but we use it in the schools for kids with sensory seeking needs.

I am a special education teacher, and this ball is in our O.T. room. The kids are stimulated by the teture, shape and color. It also fosters cognitive developement. I notice the kids try to figure out how it is put together and track the colored bands around the ball.

Pros: throw it in a dishwasher, good for kids or pets.

Cons: can become dirty/ harbers bacteria

My dog Olive doesn't like this toy. I do. I think it is pretty, easy to clean (dishwasher). However, Olive snubs it. It holds no interest for her - doesn't squeak or anything.

Olive likes toys that make noise and toys she can pounce on. This one doesn't make her list.

Pros: Pretty, well made,

Cons: Boring

MY TWO MEDIUM SIZED DOGS LIKE THIS TOY. I THINK IT IS THE UNIQUE WAY IT IS PUT TOGETHER THAT FASCINATES THEM.
