The laser light is a great way to play with your cat. They don't seem to tire of it. And, it won't get lost under the chair, bed, washer, etc.

My two younger cats just love this toy. They actually are so obsessed, they hear me pick this up or click the button and they come running. They will run around chasing the dot until they pant, so I have to keep taking breaks so they don't get overexerted. I have had dogs in the past that have also just loved this toy and also chased the laser. Some cats and dogs totally ignore it, its like the can't even see the dot. Sometimes I have seen this with cats at my mom's farm that were once semi-feral and my mom has tamed down to the point they come in the house. For the most part, this is a great toy that appeal to a large number of cats. The batteries can be expensive to replace, ! look for sales on the laser toys, sometimes buying a whole new toy is less expensive that replacing the batteries, go figure!

All we have to do is shine this once on the wall or ceiling and my dog is ready to play. He loves to chase it all through the house and across the floor. Even when we turn it off he keeps looking for it for at least another hour.
