Amazon.com Review Puppies have different nutritional requirements than adult dogs, so it makes sense to feed them treats designed to nourish growing bones and teeth. Recommended for puppies over three months old and weighing more than six pounds, Ziggies have the extra protein and calcium puppies need, and they're made without artificial flavors, colorants or preservatives. Extruded rather than molded for improved texture and density, these irresistibly chewy treats won't crack or splinter, and they're easy on sensitive puppy stomachs. Ziggies earn high marks with pet owners for their safety and digestibility--and puppies love how they taste and how long they last. Chewing on Ziggies even helps clean developing teeth and freshen puppy breath. (Small flecks of alfalfa and parsley contain chlorophyll, a natural breath freshener.) Stuff Ziggies inside a puppy Kong for an instant boredom preventer and stress reliever; extracting the contents helps puppies learn the appropriate way to channel chewing urges-an investment that will pay off over the entire lifetime of the dog. The large size Ziggies are intended for puppies from 30 to 75 pounds, regardless of breed. Feed one to two daily as a supplement to a balanced diet. --Mary Park Great Puppy Chew - specially formulated for growing puppy. Long-lasting, chewy texture that is safe and highly digestible. Won''t crack or splinter. Freshens breath and cleans teeth. For a long-lasting chewy time, stuff a ziggie into a puppy kong. High in Protein Pure wheat gluten and chicken liver. No Artificial Flavors, Colorants or Preservatives Tocopherals are a natural preservative and source of vitamin E. See all

Kong ziggies

posted 5 years ago

My dog loved these treats, but she could never get them all out of her kong. We don't use them anymore because she had an allergic reaction to something when I started giving them to her. We don't know if it was these treats or something else, but we're not risking it again to find out. It's a good product otherwise... except for the smell.

Pros: dogs love these, keeps them occupied

Cons: smell terrible, messy if they can't get them out

Ziggies are amazing

posted 6 years ago

I bought my puppy Madi some of these treats when I first adopted her and she loves them. I put one in her kong and give it to her as treat when I put her in her crate (makes it very easy to leave her in there she gets very excited). She spends hours playing with the toy. However my grandparents older dogs also love the Ziggies so we had to buy some for them :)

Pros: Dogs love them...great treat

Cons: Expensive and run out quickly
