Works for senior dogs, too!

posted 5 years ago

I couldn't find a "senior" version of the Kong dental stick (only the Large original, which is too big for my small dog). I bought the Senior "stuff'n paste" to used with it and my dog seems to love it. My dog will only chew on toys if they taste like something, this is a great alternative to having to buy and use up an edible bones every day.

Pros: Good for small dogs

Cons: Kind of gross to clean

Not that great of a toy.

posted 6 years ago

The Kong stick is the only Kong toy my dog has not enjoyed. For me, it was hard and messy to fill (I used peanut butter most of the time) and hard to clean, even when put in the dishwasher. My dog lost interest in it as soon as he'd lick everything off the top, he wouldn't even bother getting the stuff from in the ridges.

Pros: Was different

Cons: Hard to fill, hard to clean, dog didn't really care for it.

I have 3 cats and they love this food. They eat less and walk away with a full belly. Eating less means pooping less and less litter. All around a great choice for my cats.
