I was really hoping my dogs would LOVE this toy because the concept is great and it's adorable. Unfortunately, neither of my dogs is very bright and they just don't "get it" Left to their own devices, this toy doesn't get touched. They don't understand that they have to search for the squirrels and if they pick up the trunk and shake it, the few times that squirrels fly out if it, it just seems to confuse them. On the other hand, one of my friend's dogs had a great time with it and was absolutely obsessed. And he totally de-squeaked two of the squirrels in less than two minutes. I was surprised that just vigorous squeaking killed them dead - their bodies were fully intact. Anyway, cute toy but it just didn't go over well here.

Pros: very cute, fun concept

Cons: Your dogs gotta be "smart" to "get it"

This is by far my dogs favorite indoor toy. He unstuffs the squirrels and pulls out the squeaker, but still plays with the unstuffed squirrels. Usually he can't get all the stuffing out of the heads. The best thing is you can by replacement squirrels!

Pros: Provides hours of entertainment

Cons: Squirrels don't last long enough with aggressive chewers

The dog loves them (JRT) but she pulls the stuffing out of them in about 5 minutes or less and of course,does not clean up the mess.

Cons: lasts about 4 minutes
