Happy Adoption Day!
posted 6 years ago
Yesterday marked one year that we adopted Cooper. To celebrate, we gave him a new Dr. Noy's Platy Duck that his grandpeople had sent.
He went straight to town. The chewing, the shaking, the squeaking... He couldn't get enough.
What is it about Dr. Noy's? I don't know. But my dog loves them.
The Platy Duck is not indestructable, and has some very vulnerable bits: The Platy Duck started the evening with a materials tag on his back - that was the first to go. It had a hanging loop on the back of its head - now it's half a loop, and I expect the rest will not last the week. A couple of tufts of hair became chewing gum. If the Platy Duck follows the same fate as other Dr. Noy's toys we've had, the rest of the hair is doomed.
I'm giving this a 4 only because there are bits to be pulled off right away. For us, it's a 5 in how happy it makes our dog.
Pros: Squeaker pouch and MY DOG LOVES IT
Cons: Can't stand up to my dog's determination to pull things off
