This is one of the most durable toys that we have ever purchased. We usually have it out in the summer while at the pool and our dogs play with it both in and out of the water. We play fetch with it and try to use it to get them to come in the pool because it floats fairly well. Reverses to different colors so appropriate for either male or female. Easy to clean by just throwing it in the laundry. We usually just toss it in when washing the beach towels. Well worth the money.
