I discovered the Chuckit! When trying to increase Mari’s ball drive. She had great pray drive but no interest in the ball what so ever and I wanted her to be on the fly ball team.
After about six weeks of trying ever type of ball there was I tried Chuckit! And She LOVED it. Now she will do any type of work with the chuckit! As her reward. I prefer the short handled version but the long one is ok if you have about 300 feet for the dog to run. Love it, greatest dog toy ever.

Molly loves the chuckit because it enables me to throw the tennis ball further than I could do unaided. I don't let Molly chew on tennis balls because of concern about her teeth, but she sure loves to chase them. The chuckit is not totally hands free because the ball sometimes rolls out of the scoop, but this is not a deficiency of the product. It is more a problem related to the hurler.

Saves your back and keeps your hands clean. Never bend over to pick up another disgusting tennis ball ever again! Easy use, and it even helps you throw further... perfect for my dogs who never seem to tire of the classic game of fetch.

This is a good way to keep hands clean if you have a dog that likes to retrieve. Just make sure your fenced in yard is big enough or your dog is on a very long webbed line because this will make the ball go very far.
