Perfect for mealtime

posted 5 years ago

Charlie gets part of either his breakfast or dinner served in his canine genius. Not only does it make him work for his meal and utilize his brain, but it also keeps him busy and wears him out!

He learned how to get the food out real quick so to slow him down a bit we just add a few bigger treats which block some of the exits.

A tip if you are looking for other uses - we stick nylabones in Charlie's canine genius which is easier for him to grip than the bone alone. Keeps him occupied forever!

Pros: fun, durable, good for holding bones

Cons: none

Great idea!

posted 5 years ago

This idea is great when you need a few minutes to yourself when trying to get dinner done and you don't feel like stepping over dogs when they are laying by your feet. I'll give them their toy and they are occupied long enough for me to get dinner underway and not have to worry about tripping over them at your feet. Usually I will have to go up to them to let them know I am done and can play but then they are too occupied with their toy to realize I am in the room.

Pros: Occupies while cooking dinner

Cons: no complaints

Great chew toy and mental stimulus

posted 5 years ago

This is a great puzzle toy that can keep your pup occupied for a while. You can buy more then one and put the together in various configurations in order to change the stimulii. Also treats can be put inside. It is similar to a Kong toy

Pros: Durable puzzle toy that stiumulated interest

Cons: end can get chewed off by tough chewers

A life Saver

posted 5 years ago

When my dog had back surgery the Canine Genius was a life saver. It kept her busy for hours. It held treats much better than any of the other puzzle toys and was soft enough that tossing it on my hard wood floors wasn't annoying.

Pros: Holds small treats

Cons: none

I love this toy

posted 5 years ago

I love the Canine Genius. When the weather is bad and my dog can't get enough exercise I fill this up and let her work on it. It tires her out and is a great way to keep her occupied when I am busy.

Pros: good mind game

Cons: none
