it has a great price, last long with smaller dogs. my mom has had her lil guy playing with this for months. he greets you at the door with it in his mouth so it has to be pretty fun for the dogs.
Pros: funny
Cons: good for smaller dogs

One Toy You Don't Want to Miss
posted 4 years ago
I first discovered this toy through a friend, a dog photographer who uses them during her shoots. I found the Cuz at my local petstore and brought one home for Riley, because he *loves* playing with squeaky things and balls. The minute the Cuz squeaked, his ears were erect and his whole body was at attention, ready to tackle this latest toy. What was so odd, though, is originally, he wouldn't even pick it up. He kept growling at it and diving at it, mouth open, but it would stay on the floor. I thought maybe he didn't like it and the texture, but I soon discovered that he *loved* it. He gave his patented 'ooomph!' and 'eeemmnnn' that he saves for his favorite toys. And when I gave him the choice between the Cuz and the tennis ball, it was unquivocable - the Cuz was it! Now, any time I have it, Riley is just waiting to play. And he frequently brings it to me as his first choice for a game of fetch.
I'm told that each squeak is unique. I don't know if that's completely true, but the 2 I own don't sound alike. The squeaking isn't too high or grating and varies in volume depending on how hard you squeeze. As for the shape - that's part of the fun. Because it has soft, springy legs, it doesn't bounce in a straight line. My dog loves it because he has to stay on his toes to figure out where it's going to next. All in all, I'd invest in at least one for plenty of hours of doggie fun.
Pros: Unique squeak, Shape adds entertainment, Durable
Cons: Can't think of any

Love the Cuz
posted 5 years ago
All of my dogs LOVE the Cuz! The squeaker doesn't bother me too much, especially since it only lives for a couple of days, but the dogs still want their Cuz!! My GSD will actually take his red Cuz, squeak it at the other dogs and entice them in to a game of catch. He then hides it from them so they can't play with it!! My Cocker will also go CRAZY if his Cuz is stuck under the couch - I think he would dig through the furniture just to get to it!
Pros: Endless fun for the pooches
Cons: feet are the first to go

Fun toy if you can stand the noise!
posted 4 years ago
My ACDx loves these because they have a squeaker that lasts. Admittedly, I have to buy the large rather than a medium for her (she broke the squeaker and ripped the feet off the medium within about 30 minutes of playtime), but we have a few lying around the house and yard that are still fully squeakable.
The Bad Cuz noise is a lower note than the Good Cuz, which I personally find easier to listen to for extended periods of time. However, like many dog owners, I do not need the constant "squeaka squeaka" for hours on end. When I get truly fed up, I'll just take them away for safekeeping.
The hard rubber washes easily, but it does crack and warp over time if exposed to extreme temperatures. As long as the squeaker still works it's all good at my house though.
It's a pricey toy, but it's well worth the pleasure my ACDx gets out of it.
Pros: Lasts longer than many squeaky toys, easy to clean
Cons: Expensive, squeaker gets annoying after a while

Fun toy!
posted 5 years ago
I love bouncing this toy around at the shelter with the dogs. I do have to watch it with some of the more aggressive chewers as they can easily chew off the legs to this toy and without supervision, can swallow the pieces. For the non-destructive dog, this is a fun fun toy to run and play with...
Pros: great to chase, bounce or chew
Cons: aggressive chewer will easily take the legs off
