i have a 155 lb. dog and while i love the ease and accesibility of this, not to mention the safety of no tangling, i wish i could find one that he couldnt bend over time. if your dog is smaller than this i would recommend this product.price is good also.

Usually I just find something to attach my dog to- a car, a camper, the house, a tree. Most of these stakes aren't secure enough in the ground to ensure the safety of my dog so I make sure I use a stationary or very heavy object (with proper protection for the tree bark, of course.)

Pros: attach the dog to something

Cons: comes out

My dog pulled this right out of the ground. She is only 35 lbs but she is spastic and with a good run, she pulled it out. I don't trust these kinds of stakes anymore.

Pros: no tangles

Cons: rusted
