I always use this type of ID tags on my dogs. I feel much safer knowing their name and address and phone number are engraved on the metal tag.

We have had to replace some of our id tags in the past because they become unreadable. I am buying this kind next time.

I love these ID tags. Their printing is clear and if they every get dirty, you can just wash it off. Sometimes I wash my dogs collars and leave the tags on, and they even make it through the washer ok.

These are great name tags. My dog has one. It's fairly sturdy, but will scratch and eventually you will have to go out and buy another one. The even look stylish on the dogs.
