Dog Biscuit, DMac, 1 lb SKU: 015MPL02-1 [printable] DMac Dog Biscuits are a natural alternative for the support of hip, joint, and connective tissue functions in dogs of any age. Because age, breed, diet, life-style, injury, and stress can affect the health of any joint's structure and function, DMac is designed to meet the needs of your dog! DMac offers your dog an effective line of defense, whether your goal is to support existing "healthy" tissue and joints, or to bring relief and improved function to an aged or injured animal. Recommended for: Degenerative joint disease Geriatric or predisposed dogs Luxating patellas/cruciate ligament problems Hip dysplasia Accident victims DMac is a synergistic combination of natural ingredients that can optimize your dog's joint function, while at the same time provide building blocks necessary to support normal repair mechanisms. It maintains healthy joint and connective tissue function in dogs predisposed to joint dysfunction. DMac was formulated specifically to meet the needs of dogs with severe joint dysfunction. It supports the proper structure and function of synovial joints, thereby improving range of motion in dogs with joint dysfunction. MSM (Methylsulfonylmethane) is a source of organic sulfur. Sulfur supports proper maintenance of connective tissue function, rebuilding and formation of collagen. Chondroitin Sulfates are necessary to stop destructive enzymes from breaking down healthy cartilage and support the proper structureand function of healthy connective tissues and joints. The purified chondroitin sulfates in these products are derived from Certified BSE Free Bovine Tracheal Cartilage, which is a rich source of biologically-active Chondroitin -4- and -6- Sulfates. Glucosamine HCL has many direct benefits. It appears to be protective and restorative, leading to less discomfort as well as greater mobility to the afflicted joints. Ester-C® is a buffered form of Vitamin C that is "body ready" and 4 times more available to the tissues than ordinary Vitamin C, which is highly acidic. In Ester C®, the acid is buffered with calcium and processed to contain threonate, a metabolite which dramatically enhances absorption. Ester-C dog usage is increasingly proving beneficial. Although animals can manufacture Vitamin C in their bodies under ordinary conditions, stresses such as heavy exercise, injuries or respiratory problems increase the demand for Ester-C in dogs. An important component of collagen or connective tissue, Ester C® functions as a chondroprotective, antiinflammatory and immunoresponsive substance.Shark Cartilage is an all-natural, whole food source of glucosamine, chondroitin sulfates, and angi
