Helps osteoarthritis

posted 5 years ago

I have a 12 yr old rotti with chronic osteoarthritis and his dysplasia. He doesn't do well on NSAIDS or other pain killers so we are only able to keep him on the cosequin. He takes it very easily and even if he is feeling stubborn the capsule can be broken apart and the powder mixed in with his food. He doesn't notice it at all. It helps keep his stiff joints lubricated so that he can move a little easier.

Pros: Doesn't tasts bad so it can be mixed with food

Cons: Expensive for those on a budget
