Antiox is a grape seed extract supplement that is standardized to yield 95 mg (95%) proanthocyanidins (PCOs) per 100 mg capsule. PCOs are a special class of water soluble bioflavonoids that are potent antioxidants. In some comparative tests, PCOs were found to be 50 times more potent than Vitamin E and 20 times more potent than Vitamin C. PCOs prevent the release of histamine from mast cells thereby reducing the adverse effects of histamine. PCOs support capillary strength.
