Probably great for health but bad for teeth

posted 5 years ago

My vet thought my dog was a little anemic and tells me this is the only thing on the market to provide iron. It did a job on my dog's teeth, turning them black. Wish it came in capsule form. The liquid was hard to give without getting it on the floor as she didn't take it readily. I then went to an eyedropper and put it in the back of her mouth to keep it off her teeth and in her mouth. Works better than a spoon.

Pros: Probably the only iron supplement on the market

Cons: Turns my dog's teeth black, hard to administer

these are a palatable liquid vitamin and mineral supplement for puppies, dogs, cats and kittens. I have used them, seen no stomach upset and have healthy pets!

Pros: easy to use

Cons: having to use them
