I bought this thinking it would be much easier to keep food in it - especially since I mix two dry foods together. But the reality is that I've basically gone back to just scooping or pouring the food right from the bags again, because the opening of the container is narrow enough to make it sdifficult to pur the food neatly from the bag, and I end up having to do it too often.

I have the 40-lb. size one for storing cat litter and love that!
