Hanging Pet Supply Organizer
(5 out of 5)
The Hanging Pet Supply Organizer keeps your pet clutter under control.
February 15, 2011 10:02 pm | By Zootoo Editor Mary T.
The Hanging Pet Supply Organizer solves the problem of keeping pet supplies close at hand and off of your floor and carpet — but out of reach from prying paws. Designed by Frontgate, the organizer features over a dozen pockets in a range of sizes, allowing owners to consolidate nearly every piece of pet gear — from toys to brushes and more.
Just over 4 feet in height, the Hanging Pet Supply Organizer can be mounted high enough on a wall to be inaccessible to most pets — an especially helpful feature if you’re planning to store favorite toys or treats. And the design incorporates thoughtful touches — such as a leash hook and a photo sleeve to personalize the organizer for your pet. The material is also appropriately sturdy, and the canvas design comes in various colors, from a practical blue or dark brown to a cheerful red or purple.
Before purchasing, note that although the organizer will be mounted on a wall, you must supply the hardware and know-how to hang the product yourself. Assess how much gear you’re intending to store, then be sure to install mounting hooks appropriate to that weight.
Owners who travel often with their pets, or who have particularly active pets who relish time in the great outdoors, may discover that the stationary nature of this organizer is limiting. You might find yourself wondering whether an advanced version of the product would zip up into travel mode for excursions. But this is a small drawback to an otherwise superior solution to the problem of pet supply mess.
Pros: Durable and well-designed.
Cons: Not ideal for pets (and their owners) who are on the go.
