does take some training and all my dogs use it but one, he acts like its a high wire. but i love it , they all like to sleep in bed with me and this helps so much

We bought this for a dog who had compressed discs and could not go down steps. He was a very obedient Weimereiner, and he would do anything for my husband, so teaching him to walk up and down the ramp was easy. Molly, a border collie cross, is more willful and agile, and she would not use it regularly. Occasionally she would run up it, but she was scared to walk down it. The product is a good one if your dog will accept it. It is easy to store and reasonable in price.

This is a high quality product that allowed my dog to get up to my bed after she was no longer able to do it on her own. The ramp has carpet to help prevent slipping and it is very durable. It does telescope so you can adjust the length and if you close it up it stores easily. My dog did require some assistance to use this, especially coming down and it did take up a lot of room, but overall it is a product I would recommend.

Cons: bulky; my dog still needed help
