This floatation device from pupgear (www.doggydocks.com) is great for helping a dog get from a lake or pool to the dock or edge. it only takes a bit of training. it also works for getting a dog back into a boat without pulling or pushing him. there are different sizes for different dogs, and the owners are very friendly and helpful with choosing the right attachments.

The doggy dock is an excellent product. The dogs love it and owners too! Having the doggy dock makes it so easy for dogs to get in and out of the water, be in a lake, pool, *boat.

The dogs feel safe and in control. Just takes a little getting used to by the dog to get on and off. To get out of the water, the dog paddles up to the ramp in the water then a hop onto the platform and dog is out of the water. So easy on the dogs.

I wish this product had been available when we had our amazing surfer dog, a Golden who couldn't stay out of the water. He would jump off the dock in our backyard, and then we would have to get in the water ourselves to lift him back up. This would have made everything so much easier and our backs would have thanked the manufacturer and/or inventor.

Pros: Easy to train the dog to get on it.

Cons: None that I know of.

This is a great tool to help your dog get out of the pool or lake. Dogs must be taught how to get out. I always make sure that my dogs are clear about where to get out and how. Without that crucial info, they can easily become frightened and swimming won't be fun. Take the time to teach them and make sure they are safe.
