My 2 year old pug decided that she wasn't going to jump into bed anymore. Not that she can't, the stubborn little things simply won't. Instead she stood at the side of the bed crying and pawing at me. I would ignore her at first but then start to feel bad and lift her into bed. Again, there is nothing wrong with her. She jumps into bed when she is playing and she jumps onto the couch and all other furniture, she is just stubborn. So a friend gave me a pair of stairs she wasn't using, showed her how to use them and she is once again a happy and self-sufficient little pug. Still a stubborn, spoiled brat, but happy!!

They are great. My 30 pound puggle uses them as well when he is feeling lazy. They are small enough that they are not a major obstacle. The wieght recommendations are wrong. The friend who gave them to me also has a dog that weighs about 30 pounds but is much larger in terms of body structure (my puggle has a small frame but is a bit overweight). Her dog couldn't use them and needed the stairs for a hip problem. Also, they are made of plastic and not very sturdy for a bigger dog.

Cons: covered with a light carpet that holds hair and is difficult to clean, light weight so flip over sometimes or move

These look like the stairs I have. I've used them so much. First for a dog with bad back, then fat cat, and now a 3-legged chihuahua. They really help for getting on the couch or bed. Definitely would recommend for anyone with an injured or crippled pet.

My neighbor has a 17-year-old poodle who just cannot jump up into her favorite places anymore. She purchased a set of these for her living room couch and now has bought a second set for the bed in the bedroom. Little Katie goes up and down them like a pro, it's exactly what she needed to continue to feel comfortable in her older years.

Pros: This is a great product.

Cons: A little bulky, once it's there, it's there, but very helpful with small or older pets.

This works really well for my doxie it helps her to and from the couch...however when she is in a hurry she will not use it.
