These are great for car travel. Your pet is confined inside the carrier and not roaming around the car interfering with your driving. And your pet is safe inside the carrier if there is an accident - there is no chance your pet will roam away.

If this is like the human infant carriers..,great idea.It would keep the crate from tipping to the floor if you have to brake hard,or keep it from sliding across the seat on sharp turns.

this is a nice carrier crate but is not that durable. for smaler dogs only. it is easy to find in stores and greatly helpful with transportation of smaller dogs
