My dog loves this take a long crate. Gives him a "safe" place to be in the car or camping.

I really like this crate for daytrips and overnights. My dog is crate trained and doesn't try to escape. The side flaps can be rolled up or put down for privacy. Putting the sides down helps calm my dog especially when there are things she would want to chase outside it. She doesn't like it as much as she does her wire crate but it is good for travel.

It is not easily cleaned as it has a fleece pad instead of a plastic pan. The pad must be washed. The pad is covering a flimsy piece of board which I plan to replace with plastic. This crate was meant for dogs that are crate trained and do not chew. This crate is not claw or chew proof.

We bought this soft-sided crate hoping for a alternative to heavy metal crates to use for travel. Our Welsh Springer Spaniel had scratched through the material the first time we used in within 10 minates!
