Of course any insect repellent will be toxic and with any toxic product you have to use it with care. I love Farnam roll on insect repellent cause it's not messy and it really helps with horse flies in the summer. It is such a pain in the neck to be walking you dog and have to be swatting flys ! Love this stuff !

This is one of those roll ons that work! It is easy to apply and the cost is reasonable. Farnam has good horse products also. A good brand to use.
