Hartz Advanced Care 2 In 1 Rid Flea Dog Shampoo

I used this on my dog this morning. I love the smell of it. I don't know how effective it is for fleas/ticks because I really don't have any other shampoos to compare it too. I don't even think my dog had fleas, but I used it just in case she might have gotten them from my cat.

I see there's a lot of bad reviews on it, but I do remember using on one of my cats who had fleas quite a few years back, and it seemed to do the job just fine. I remember dead fleas floating EVERYWHERE in the water when I used it, and the fleas never came back, so I am going to say it works good.

It's definitely inexpensive compared to other brands on the shelf.

Cons: probably doesn't work as good for fleas as what you get from a vet

We used this at the shelter the other day to wash a bunch of puppies. This was their first bath, and the dogs did not seem to mind the shampoo. They smelled great afterwards, and the flea control, always helps in a shelter environment. Good product.
