Poop Scoop

A poop scoop is essential for nearly all dog lovers. I have tried many poop scoops and the best one I've found is a scoop with a 2.5 ft wooden handle and then a separate scraper- also with the long wooden handle. The scraper is a solid piece of metal about 5 inches wide. Some use the rake variety of scraper, but this doesn't work well for every type of poop...

I have gone through a lot of these over the years. They are great for cleaning up after the dogs and help to keep you from straining your back as you walk around picking up the mess. The wooden handles will eventually wear out from the weather so plastic would be nice (though I haven't seen any like that). It makes keeping your yard, pet, and neighbors, happy and healthy.

Pros: easy to use

Cons: they do not last long due to weather and wear and tear
