We use the all plastic version of this muzzle on our greyhound. Greyhounds typically wear muzzles just like this during their racing lives and it's very common for their use to transition over into the home. Our greyhound wears one of these muzzles when we are not home. It keeps her from chewing on the woodwork and fighting with our other dog over their peanut butter kongs, which are high value special occasion items. We feel much better about the dogs being home alone when she is wearing this muzzle. Definitely recommend a similar muzzle to all greyhound (or just plain long nosed sighthound) owners.

Some tracks give out the dog's muzzles too when they are retired, so we got one for our greyhound (all plastic though). We use them in group settings where there will be a large pack of dogs running together, but mostly I like to have it in case she is injured and we need to contain her.

The muzzle fits her okay, but is a bit large. I used hot glue to put in a bit of fleece along the top band where it really rubbed against her nose. The straps allow it to be adjusted so that she can't pull it off.

This is a great product for our fear-aggressive dog. It does not fit VERY well but it fits decently. I love it! We would not be able to do training w/o it!

We don't use them a whole lot, but there are times when they come in handy. Though I don't like this particular brand so much.

Pros: As basket muzzles go, they work

Cons: A little more flimsy than other basket muzzles I have had
